Fact 1 on Djoser: | The 2nd dynasty of Kings during the Early Dynastic Period had been marred by political strife and rebellions in the northern lands of Lower Egypt and the country had been embroiled in Civil War. | Fact 2 on Djoser: | King Khasekhemwy, the last king or the 2nd dynasty, had eventually defeated the rebels and married Nimaethap, a Northern princess, that consolidated the rule in both regions. | Fact 3 on Djoser: | King Queen Nimaethap is credited as the ancestor of the 3rd Dynasty and believed to be the mother of Sanakhte (Nebka) and his younger brother Djoser.
